To receive Jesus...
First, confess and believe with your heart (not just your mind)
that Jesus is the Son of God, that He came to this earth, died on
the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and rose from the grave on the
third day. -Romans 10:9
Second, confess that you are a sinner and have been living
apart from God and His will, and that you now turn away from your
sins and accept God’s forgiveness. -Luke 11:13
Finally, as a disciple of Jesus Christ, give him your whole
life. He wants it all. Give him all of your problems, relationships,
possessions, goals, ambitions, past, present and future. He wants
everything, and expects you to trust him with everything in your
life. By doing this, you are truly making Jesus the Lord over your
life. -Luke 14:25-35
